We use your Internet Protocol or IP address to help diagnose problems with

identify you and your shopping cart that you use to hold your books until
purchase, and to gather broad demographic information. Additionally, we use

shopping cart and make sure the books you pick make it to your final order.

Meanwhile, we use an order form so you can purchase your books directly
from our site. We use the information on the order form to process your
order, send your books to you, and process payment for your order. We provide
your name and address to our shipping agent, which may be the U.S. Mail, UPS,
or FedEx for the express purpose of making delivery.
Internally, we use your personal information for billing and shipping your books to you. Records are maintained of each transaction, and access is limited to only those employees and/or contractors that need the information to execute their respective duties.

Guarantee Policy
We guarantee that used books will be serviceable for one academic year. Any
new book found to be defective in material or workmanship, will be replaced.
Simply call our Customer Service number 546-2222 on Oahu, or (888) 541-6777
on neighbor islands, for instructions on how to return any defective materials
to us.
No representation is made with respect to the condition of any used book;including,
but not limited to, highlighting, or writing in the margins. No representations
or warranties are offered respects the amount, or content, of this type of personalization
by previous owner(s) of a textbook.
No representation is made with respect to the length of time required to process
an order. We attempt to process orders withing 24 hours of receipt of the order,
but at peak periods of the year this is usually not possible.
No representation is made with respect to the availability of books listed
on the site. We attempt to keep our inventory as current as possible; however,
circumstances sometimes cause inventory to be inaccurate. If this situation
occurs we will contact you to request instructions as to how you wish your order
to proceed.
We reserve the right to substitute classroom compatible
editions for the ordered ISBN. Such substitutions are only made when the book
has been determined to be classroom compatible with the edition on the school's
published book list.
Return Policy

Any items purchased from coursetextbooks.com will be refunded if they are returned
within 14 days of the invoice date or the tenth day of classes (seven calendar
days for summer school) following the start of school. However, in no event
will any book be refunded more than thirty days (twenty one days for summer)
from the date of purchase. Please note that books must be returned in their
original condition. Any book sold as new that has been written in or defaced
in any way, will be refunded at 60% of the purchase price. Also, be sure not
to open any software included with the books you receive until you are sure
you will keep the book(s). We cannot issue refunds for new books where the seal
on the software packaging is broken. All returned books are subject to a 15%
re-stocking fee. Any books for which a refund request is received, for which
the delivery method chosen is "will-call", and which were not collected
by the purchaser for any reason, will be charged a re-stocking fee of 15% of
the purchase price. Books not in resalable condition upon receipt by coursetextbooks.com
will not be refunded.
SPECIAL NOTE: No book is eligible for a refund more than 30 days after the
date of purchase. If you purchase a book and your school's book list subsequently
changes for any reason, you will be eligible for a refund only in accordance
with the above stated policy.
If we made a mistake, and shipped the incorrect title, or the books were damaged
upon arrival, please call us at 546-2222, Oahu, or (888) 541-6777, from a Neighbor
Island, for instructions on how to return the books. If we made an error by
sending the incorrect book, we will gladly absorb the cost of shipping the replacement.
You will be charged the shipping only for the original shipment. Books returned
due to damage occurring during shipping will be replaced at no charge, upon
receipt of the damaged book. Alternatively, we will charge you for the replacement,
and refund the charge upon receipt of the damaged book. If you find your order
is incomplete, you must notify coursetextbooks.com within 30 days of receipt
of the order. Failure to notify of shortages within this time frame will result
in forfeiture of any refund or replacement rights normally afforded the customer.
Any product being returned to coursetextbooks.com,
must have a copy of the original invoice, and an explanation for the return
in the same package as the return. Returns must be clearly addressed to the
Returns Department for timely processing to occur. Returns should be

Shipping Information
You are given the option of shipping by air or surface, or picking up your
order at our store on a will-call basis. All will-call orders are held at our
store for pick-up. If you choose a delivery method, ground is the only method
available for Oahu. Oahu shipments usually take between
1 and 2 days to arrive following shipment. Neighbor island shipments are made
by air. If you wish to have a shipment delivered outside of Hawaii, you must
call for a shipping quotation. The cost of shipping and handling is borne by
the purchaser.
We reserve the right to select the most appropriate, or cost effective,
shipping agent. We typically use UPS or FedEx. Rates for shipping and
Handling are provided at the time of placing the order.
Payment Options
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and JCB. If you are paying by credit card, at the
time you place your order, you will be asked to enter your credit card number
and expiration date. Once we have this information, we can process your order
quickly and securely.
If you are the recipient of a book scholarship with your school, you must visit
our store to place your order and collect your books.
Sales Tax
All orders are charged Hawaii's General Excise Tax at a rate of 4.166%.
